Daniel Benedict

Dan Benedict recently retired from his position as Director of Worship Resourcing for The General Board of Discipleship of The United Methodist Church. A liturgy specialist and teacher, he pastored congregations for twenty-five years before joining the GBOD staff in 1993.

Dan is a clergy member (elder) of the California-Pacific Annual Conference of The UMC, an active member of the North American Academy of Liturgy, and holds a certificate in Digital Culture ministry from the Lumicon Institute

Dan coauthored with Craig Kennet Miller Contemporary Worship for the 21st Century: Worship or Evangelism? and authored Come to the Waters: Our Ministry of Welcoming Seekers and Forming Disciples. He is married to Mary O and they have two married adult children and three grandsons.

 

 

Marcia McFee

Marcia McFee is a consultant on worship and the arts and has preached, led worship and workshops for churches and conferences across the U.S. Europe and Asia. She is a graduate of Saint Paul School of Theology and received her Ph.D. in Liturgical Studies from the Graduate Theological Union.

Her hands-on workbook, The Worship Workshop: Creative Ways to Design Worship Together, guides worship teams through evaluation, study and design of worship.

 

 

Billy Reeder

Billy Reeder has a Masters degree in multimedia journalism and is an award-winning photographer and videographer. An active United Methodist, Billy is a former director of communications for the Arkansas Conference.

Billy has also done a considerable amount of research on the sociologic aspects of digital media on our society and continues to lecture on the effects of media violence and the strategic marketing to children. Paula, his lovely wife of 10 years, teaches 4th grade at an elementary school near their home.
