Lumicon Experiences

A Lumicon Experience is a set of elements to help you plan and carry out meaningful worship wrapped around a consistent, biblically-based theme that's relevant to current culture.

Experiences are offered as a single download of a self-extracting file which includes:

• Three Graphics - A main graphic, a wordless graphic for your text, and graphic designed for song titles
• PDF Document containing Bible references, and ideas to enhance your worship experience.
• Lumiclip Video to use during the service. Lumiclips typically range from 30 to 90 seconds.

Lumicon Mission

The mission of Lumicon is to bring the light of Christ into the lives of people living in digital culture, for the sake of transforming the world.

Lumicon Values

Lumicon values the rich tradition of Christian churches, and acknowledges that God has created and is creating. This ongoing creation calls us to minister in new and culturally relevant ways.

At the same time, we honor the path that has brought us to this point in ministry by including traditional hymns and creeds in our worship resources, providing cultural context in our sermon starter notes, and using the Revised Common Lectionary as a planning guide.

We also value the possibilities God offers us in the present and future. The scriptural statement that God is in all things (Romans 8:28) reinforces our search for spiritual symbolism in areas commonly thought of as secular. If we can shed light on the meaning in everyday objects and situations, we can see the light of Christ shining through those very things.

Lumicon Beliefs

At Lumicon, we believe the risen Christ, Light of the World, is always at work in the world. We ascribe to the beliefs stated in the Apostles' Creed and other Christian affirmations of faith. We believe that God calls us to minister to people in the current cultural context of their lives.
